Can I get into an online/distant learning college with a low SAT score?
I’m a mostly A student, except for math, but I bombed the SAT. I did take the essay section, so I got an average of 500 for that. Critical reading was 410 and math was 330 (yikes!). It was a really hard test. Some of the words were, like, way above my head. I feel so dumb! I studied for it, but it didn’t help any. I wrote two adventure books and and want to go to an online college for English Composition, and maybe nutrition.
Try one of the open universities like Athabasca University. (www.athabascau.ca). They take anyone who is willing to learn regardless of their academic qualifications. Whether you pass/fail is up to you.
I got my degree from them. They are fully-accredited and will take students from around the world. Just check out their website and see what they have to offer. By the way, their course fees include textbooks.
